The AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) for GAS Meters is an NB-IoT based I/O module that connects Magnetic pulses from mechanical meters directly into a narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) network. This allows utilities and service providers to remotely read and manage meters at low cost without the need for manual on-site intervention.

SMART AMR- RF (HAT-865-FN-HB03) is GAS Meter AMR for Prepaid Automated Meter Reading unit, which can detect GAS flow, and stores data for communicate with the server, with valve control mechanism for control Prepaid Meter Valve control.

Smart Prepaid Metering Application PAYGTL (Pay As you GO Token Less) can be used for Pre-payment of Smart Meter. Any one of the Wireless Technology like NB-IoT/BLE can be used for communication with server for connect with Smart Meter and Prepaid Valve control operations.

Devices factory programmed with predefined intervals for communication with NB-IoT & BLE In normal mode device will be in sleep mode, NB-IoT communication is established with NB-IoT Gateway in pre-programmed intervals, and BLE have frequent wakeup intervals for communication with Mobile Application.

Data Storage: 128 days of Data Storage with daily meter reads. Local permanent memory → Consumption patterns and cumulative counts are logged for redundancy (data isn’t lost if network coverage is temporarily unavailable).

NB-IoT Connectivity: Uses cellular NB-IoT standard for long-range, low-power, and low-cost communication. Works seamlessly with mobile operators’ NB-IoT networks.

Data Handling: AES-256, store-and-forward mechanism ensures that if connectivity drops, the data is buffered locally and sent once reconnected.

Two-way communication → Not only pushes consumption data, but can also receive commands for configuration & diagnostics.

Scalability & Reliability: High-reliability network backbone with redundancy and fault-tolerant architecture. Capable of handling an expanding network of meters with minimal reconfiguration.
